Native Dancer
UK outfit Native Dancer release a new album recorded at PizzaExpress Live. The twelve-track live album follows their widely acclaimed debut Tides, which weaved together influences from hip-hop, trip-hop, jazz, R&B and electronic pop, and is the third release on the newly formed PX Records.
The album features a collection of covers including imaginative versions of Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, Donald Byrd’s ‘Cristo Redentor’ and Joni Mitchell’s ‘Hejira’ as well as a selection of the band’s own compositions including ‘Seven of Swords’, ‘Full Moon Syndrome’ and ‘Noise Above Our Heads’.
