Since the release of his wildly acclaimed debut album Phase in 2016, during a period which saw the then 24 year old top the BBC Sound Of poll and win the BRITS Critics Choice Award, Jack Garratt has carved out a reputation as one of music’s most forward-thinking practitioners; a multi-talented artist whose unique blend of jazz inflected electronica, R&B and big singer-songwriter anthems continues to quietly push boundaries.
Described by the Daily Telegraph as “an incredible performer to witness live”, Garratt is also widely regarded as a powerful, soulful singer and a master multi-instrumentalist who elevates his music to monumental levels during his incendiary live shows (“The sound he creates up there puts him several leagues beyond Sheeran” The Guardian). And it’s one of these inimitable live performances - recorded during a run of intimate live shows at PizzaExpress Live Holborn last year – that is set for release on PX Records on June 21st.
